Our client is seeking a Maintenance/Facilities Manager. This person will be responsible for the planning and implementation of all installation, repair, upkeep, and housekeeping operations of the distribution center.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop maintenance and housekeeping procedures and ensure timely and correct implementation
Check electrical, plumbing, AC, Heating, and other facilitys systems to ensure proper functionality
Plan and oversee equipment repair and facility systems installation activities
Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
Allocate manpower to ensure effective and efficient execution of the plan
Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
Monitor equipment and supplies inventory and place orders timely
Manage expenses and control Departments budget
Ensure maintenance logs and reports are timely and properly maintained
Ensure health and safety policies are followed
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
HS diploma, or GED.AA or BS/BA in business administration or facility management preferred
5+ years of experience as Facilities and Equipment Maintenance Manager
5+ years of experience in developing and implementing maintenance plans/projects
Advanced technical understanding of plumbing, electrical, AC, and other systems
Advanced communication, interpersonal, organization, prioritization, and analytical skills
Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) preferred
