Location: Various location in US

Job Overview:

The Integration / Tech Architect in Transition Architecture will play a critical role in managing and designing the integration architecture for a complex supply chain environment. This individual will be responsible for developing detailed transition plans for integrating various supply chain planning solutions and enterprise platforms across multiple releases. The role demands deep expertise in handling data migrations, data loads, and integration frameworks, along with a strong understanding of best practices in integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Transition Planning and Design:
    • Develop and maintain detailed transition plans for system integration across multiple releases, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
    • Design scalable and flexible integration architectures that can accommodate future changes and enhancements.
  2. Integration Strategy Development:
    • Create and implement integration strategies that align with organizational goals and supply chain optimization efforts.
    • Evaluate and recommend integration tools and technologies that best meet the needs of the organization.
  3. Project Management and Execution:
    • Lead and manage integration projects, coordinating with various internal and external teams to ensure successful execution.
    • Monitor project progress, adjusting plans and strategies as needed to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
  4. Technical Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Provide technical leadership and expertise to project teams, guiding them through complex integration challenges.
    • Engage with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate impacts, and secure buy-in for integration approaches and solutions.
  5. Data Management and Migration:
    • Oversee data migrations and data loads, ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout the transition process.
    • Develop robust strategies for data validation, cleanup, and reconciliation to ensure seamless data integration.
  6. Quality Assurance and Best Practice Implementation:
    • Implement best practices in integration frameworks and methodologies to enhance system reliability and performance.
    • Oversee the creation and execution of detailed testing plans to ensure successful integrations and functionality of end-to-end solutions.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in the supply chain domain, particularly with planning solutions and enterprise platforms like SAP, Oracle, or similar.
  • Proven track record of designing and executing detailed transition plans for large-scale integrations across multiple releases.
  • Experience with multiple boundary applications, data migrations, data loads, and integration frameworks.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or specific technologies relevant to the integration projects.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical issues in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Experience in agile methodologies and continuous improvement processes.
