Medical Assistant

Pride Health is hiring for a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Kissimmee, FL.  This is a 2-month assignment (contract to hire) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!  
 
Duties:
•    Assist Physician with injections and EKG's.
•    Chart prep, room patients, scanning/faxing records, phone intake calls and other duties as assigned.
•    Organize, stock and clean exam rooms.
•    Perform PT/INR's
•    Maintain quality control standards.

Education/Requirements:
•    High school graduate, GED or equivalent.
•    Be bilingual (English/Spanish) language proficiency.
•    Have 2+ years experience as a medical assistant or related experience in a medical setting.
•    Strong medical Terminology and insurance knowledge
•    ICD-9/10 and CPT coding experience
•    eCW experience.

Job Title: Medical Assistant
Location: Kissimmee, FL
Schedule: Mon to Fri 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Pay Range: $18 to $23/hr 

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
