Marketing Manager B2B

Johnson Service Group, a nationally award-winning staffing firm, is seeking a Marketing Manager for a high growth cleantech company in San Diego.
We are seeking a candidate who possesses a flair for messaging, adept writing skills, and the ability to create captivating content that educates and engages. Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, recommend, learn, and implement marketing technology tools.
• Utilize marketing technology to amplify our voice and enhance execution.
• Represent and uphold the Beam brand internally and externally.
• Design, launch, and oversee campaigns across various channels to drive engagement and demand.
• Create marketing collateral for the sales team, marketing programs, and executive leadership.
• Assess and recommend events to attend; manage pre, during, and post-event presence.
• Collaborate with the web team to keep website content fresh and engaging.
• Oversee our social media properties, content, and engagement.
• Develop a deep understanding of the benefits of Beam product lines.
• Write content for collateral, videos, social media, website, blog, events, and webinars.
• Author clear creative briefs for designers and videographers to create inspiring on-brand content.
• Track, measure, and report key marketing metrics for continuous program innovation.

Experience:

• 5-8 years of marketing experience (with at least 2-5 years in B2B marketing).
• Excellent writing talent with impeccable grammar and a ‘no-typos’ polish.
• Familiarity with brand building and brand language.
• Proven track record of managing owned digital properties (company social sites and website content).
• Interest and comfort with marketing technology.
• Marketing automation skills are a plus; willingness to learn if little/no experience.
• Experience in messaging and positioning.
• Ability to be detail-oriented and hands-on while keeping the big picture in mind.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver on commitments.
• Light design capabilities are a plus.
• Excellent PowerPoint/Keynote capabilities; adept at productivity software.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent minimum.
