This Professional Engineer (PE) position prepares design documents under general supervision. Applies a working knowledge of engineering and construction materials related to engineering evaluation and design in collaboration with lead engineers and project managers. Works with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to evaluate or design various project aspects commensurate with level of experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and collaborate in the preparation of engineering evaluations and design documents
- Apply working knowledge of engineering and construction materials
- Work independently in support of project managers
- Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulations
- Review and approve project deliverables
- Communicate project progress and issues to stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum.
- Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience required.
- Ability to obtain U.S. military base access through completion of a comprehensive background check.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Willing and able to independently travel periodically to project locations, domestic and international.

Physical Requirements
- Work predominantly in an office environment. Occasional outside work in various conditions.
- See, hear and communicate with others in varying conditions using various methods.
- Travel independently, an average of 25% per year, for varying periods, both domestic and international.
- Lift or move up to 50 lbs. May be required to lift up to 100 lbs. over short distances.
- Sit or stand for sustained period.
- Ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like.
- Walk, stand, crouch on uneven surfaces.
