Overview
The Mechanical Engineer PE
Applies standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair, or improve products, components, or assemblies.
Responsibilities
  • Apply standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair, or improve products, components, or assemblies.
  • Sign and seal engineering documents as responsible engineer.
  • Analyze, develop, and evaluate systems, and improve or create new projects.
  • Design and draft blueprints; visit systems in the field; manage projects.
  • Perform work with a high degree of latitude, handle complex issues, and provide leadership, coaching, or mentoring to subordinates.
  • Act as a lead or first-level supervisor when necessary.
  • Interact directly with clients to ensure project requirements are met.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • 4-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Expert knowledge in the subject matter.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, mathematical, and computer skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
