JrFIT Camp Staff...

Engages and demonstrates a high level of customer care/service with every family. We create relationships with our campers and their families.
Assists in providing a clean and safe environment for the campers (including fitness studios, pool deck, parking lots, NinjaZone, tennis compound, etc)
Arrives at AVAC ready to begin their shift at the appropriate time, complying with AVAC uniform and dress code. Follows appropriate guidelines for breaks.
Maintains a professional attitude and behavior in their interactions with members and guests, fellow employees and management.
Follows established guidelines for documentation and communication.
Shows initiative in the performance of their shift responsibilities.
To assist fellow counselors with equipment, set up, and clean up.
To be willing to substitute for others as required.
To follow attendance guidelines in the event of an absence.
To know and be prepared to execute the AVAC Emergency Action Plan.
To acquire and maintain current Lifeguard certification.
To maintain a professional attitude and behavior.
To comply with rules and regulations of the JrFit Summer Camp and Almaden Valley Athletic Club.

• Professional, outgoing, energetic, self-motivated and personable
• Able to work on a high-functioning team and under minimal supervision at times

To engage in frequent communication with the parents.
To have a thorough working knowledge of the JrFit Summer Camp Manual.
To exhibit class management skills, making sure that lesson planning is evident to Management and to customers.
To attend all required training sessions and meetings.
To display creativity in games or other activities for the campers.
To make appropriate corrections when needed.
To consistantly scan and know wher all campers are at all times
To ensure student safety at all times.
