The Digitizer is responsible for digitizing embroidery logos and editing existing logos for samples and production of Custom headwear.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Digitizing logos from Customer supplied artwork
• Editing existing logos already digitized
• Providing stitch count estimates to Domestic Custom Sales team
• Provide help to Embroidery machine operators with stitch file edits
• Develop strong working knowledge of Embroidery on different fabric substrates
• Interact positively with co-workers under heavy workload in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to multi-task efficiently
• Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal

Education and Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree.

• Knowledge of Wilcom program preferred, but not mandatory.
• MS Office experience (especially Excel and Outlook).

Physical/Mental Requirements

• Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors)

• Able to hear and effectively communicate with peers

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position (seated) 80% of the day and occasionally reach, bend and move inside the office to access files and product.
• Required to have close visual acuity to perform computer tasks and operate other office machinery.
• The person in this position frequently communicates with internal and external customers and must be able to exchange accurate information in a clear manner.
• Ability to move 10-20 lbs occasionally throughout day.
• Able to hear a telephone ring.
