Job description

Dismal River Club Is a destination resort nestled in the Sandhills of Nebraska. We blend rugged wilderness and refined comfort offering two world-class golf courses, guided outdoor adventures and rustic-luxury lodging. Our spacious clubhouse features a full bar and restaurant where guests enjoy elevated hospitality and an exceptional dining experience built around connection and service.

Position Summary

The Outdoor Recreation Attendant will assist with all the outdoor and recreational activities on and off the property. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. The role requires attention to detail that will ensure that members and guests receive outstanding customer service, with an aim to exceed their expectations. Safety is of the upmost importance in all actions taken while with clients or prepping for events.

Applicants must be hardworking, able to follow directions, and adept at working independently without supervision. Work hours may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, as well as holidays.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

ยท Guide and support guests in all on-property outdoor recreation activities including but not limited to shooting, fishing, kayaking, UTV tours, and hunting.

ยท Provide transportation to activities found off property.

ยท Implementation of chores including taking care of dogs (feed, clean kennels, water and exercise).

ยท Take care of bird stock (water, feed, clean-up).

ยท Keep vehicles used for recreation fueled and clean for client and guest use. Report any maintenance issues.

ยท Maintain trap shooting ranges/courses, pigeon ring, and long-range shooting facility. This includes keeping all weapons clean, facilities tidied and ready for guests.

ยท Assist in keeping inventory on ammo, feed, supplies, and equipment for use in recreation operations.

ยท Help support all departments property wide as needed.

ยท Keep all work areas clean and organized.

ยท Must wear appropriate DRC gear at the clubhouse and when around clients, members and guests.
