On-site Support Engineer - Westfield

JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Type: Salaried/ Full-time
Work Location: Client Designated Site. Westfield, IN

JOB SUMMARY

The incumbent in this position as the company’s On-Site Support Engineer will be responsible for on-site technical support at the corporate office of a major client in the Indianapolis, IN area.

This will include, but not be limited to, Office 365 and SharePoint administration; providing end-user support and training for windows based hardware and software as well as hardware provisioning and collaborating with the client’s IT Manager to ensure operational security, maintenance and governance.

We are looking for someone that is not afraid to fail and has a never quit attitude. Must be a self-starter, researcher, willing to consult with Executive Leadership to provide strategy and business direction for internal and client facing systems.

· Work with various internal groups and clients to troubleshoot issues, provide resolution(s) and implement solutions.

· Open / document / close support tickets with various technology manufacturers and vendors.

· Responsible for and accountable to follow support procedures and escalation guidelines.

· Interface with vendor and local IT support, managing the response and direction of the troubleshooting effort.

· Work alongside clients during troubleshooting of IT issues.

· Investigate, identify and document causes and solutions for incidents that result in a service disruption.

· Providing end-user support for all PC based hardware, applications and services.

· New user setup and orientation including installing and configuring workstations, software, telephone services, network printing, etc.

· Maintain and provide support for all IT infrastructure.

· Provide tier 1 and tier 2 support and troubleshooting.

· Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Microsoft Certified Professional -- Current (Preferred)

· 5 years of various MS OS and application support including MS Office 365 products.

· Must have strong customer service skills.

· Team player with focus on company and client results.

· Strong ability to define, verbalize and train others on troubleshooting strategies.

· Strong oral and written communication skills required, for internal and external communication.

· Exhibits mature organization and time management skills.

· Accomplishes tasks with minimal supervision.
