Viridian Staffing's (www.viridianstaffing.com) Client is looking for Temporary Cultivation, Post-Harvest, Packaging, and Labeling Techs to help with a cannabis facility 40 minutes East of the Greenfield, Massachusetts, area. The assignment is expected to start in mid-May and for workers who meet or exceed performance expectations, this position could convert to a permanent opportunity!

Work Shifts vary with most as Monday-Friday, 1st Shift (6:30am-3:00pm) or 2nd Shift (3:00pm-11:30pm). Post-Harvest positions are four 10-hour shifts including weekend days.

As a Cultivation Tech, you will be focused on assisting Head Growers and Assistant Growers with a variety of tasks with the cannabis plants in an indoor grow environment. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to manicuring, monitoring, pruning, watering, planting, trimming, cleanliness and efficiency of production area.

As a Post-Harvest Tech, your duties could include anything from weighing post-harvest materials and products, hand debucking, trimming, and grinding cannabis flower, sanitization and sterilization of equipment and clean room environment, accurate counting of cannabis products, data tracking, and documentation for state regulations

As a Packaging Technician, you will help to measure cannabis products, package the product, and then label the product accordingly. You may also get to help collect samples and perform tests to ensure quality.

You bring with you the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment. You are known for your effective time-management skills, ability to multi-task, and are always able to arrive on time and willing to give 100%. You also have the ability to sit, stand, kneel, twist AND lift plants and equipment up to 50 pounds for extended periods of time.

REQUIREMENTS

Massachusetts State Law requires anyone working for a licensed cannabis company to be 21 years of age or older
Must be eligible to work for a licensed cannabis company in the State of Massachusetts
Reliable transportation and ability to arrive on time
Ability to stand, sit, kneel, twist AND lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods of time
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to take direction, have a growth mindset, and work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
Ability to be around plant materials up to 10 hours
At least two professional references able to speak to your great work ethic

Preferred Qualifications:

Cannabis cultivation, trimming or harvesting experience

Pay Range: $17.50-$18.50/hour
