Job description
Position Summary
The Cultivation Technician supports daily cultivation and harvest operations in a regulated facility. Cultivation Technicians have strong attention to detail, a reliable work ethic, and can follow SOPs exactly. Tech-savvy is a plus (data entry, tablets, tracking systems). This role requires prolonged periods of standing and may sometimes require longer hours, essential on trim/harvesting days.
Essential Functions
- Daily plant care: watering/feeding, transplanting, pruning/defoliation, trellising
- Maintain clean, organized work areas; follow sanitation and PPE requirements
- Support harvest/trim: harvesting, bucking, sorting, hanging/drying support, trimming assistance
- Perform room checks and report issues (pests, mold, nutrient stress, equipment problems)
- Complete required logs and documentation accurately (paper and/or digital)
- Follow all SOPs and compliance procedures (batch integrity, chain of custody, waste handling)
- Perform other duties as assigned by Cultivation manager.
Requirements
- High attention to detail and consistent quality of work
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow written and verbal procedures in a regulated environment
- Comfortable with repetitive, hands-on work and working at a steady pace
- Physical ability to stand for long periods; lift up to 50 lbs; frequent bending/reaching
- Must meet any applicable state/regulatory employment requirements
- Cultivation, greenhouse, agriculture, horticulture, or production/manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience with METRC is a huge bonus!
