Job Summary: Body Shop Production Coordinator are responsible for production in the Body Shop. They must be knowledgeable about a wide range of repair techniques and materials, as well as the costs associated with each. They are responsible for tracking the progress of repairs on individual vehicles. This might include communicating with customers to keep them updated on the status of their vehicle or ensuring that all necessary parts have been ordered in a timely manner.

Body Shop Production Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Dispatches work into the Body Shop production bays to technicians
- Holds daily production meetings
- Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
- Determine and recommend needed maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle
- Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
- Establish follow up time
- Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
- Explain all completed work and charges to customers
Body Shop Production Coordinator Requirements:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Previous experience in writing profitable estimates
- Above average energy level
- Personal and professional integrity
- Computer experience and willingness to learn new programs
- Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
