Billing & Collections Manager (Home Care)

Ultimate Care NY is seeking a skilled and experienced Billing & Collections Manager to join our team. As our Billing & Collections Manager, you will report to the Director of Finance and be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our billing and collections department.

• Develop and implement policies and procedures for billing and collections staff
• Monitor and report on billing and collection activities, including accounts receivable aging reports and revenue cycle management
• Ensure that accounts are billed and collected in a timely and accurate manner
• Manage the denials and appeals process for insurance claims
• Oversee the training and development of billing and collections staff
• Work closely with the Director of Finance to develop and manage departmental budgets
• Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical billing and collections, including 2 years in a managerial role
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing regulations and procedures
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software programs
