3rd Shift Chemical Shift Operator - $1,500 SIGN ON BONUS

Hourly Rate: $24.50 with $2.00 hour shift differential

Hours: 11p-730a, Su-Th, OT as required

Job Summary

Oversee and direct bottle packers, operate process equipment, and perform duties as directed by
plant manager. Assist plant manager ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining a
clean and safe work environment providing customers with quality products.

Essential Job Functions

• Oversee operations on the production floor and works with PM to ensure workers are
performing tasks as assigned.
• Load/ Unload reactors.
• Assist with employee training.
• Assist with the scheduling of daily production requirements
• Complete ERP system functions as assigned
• Assist with routine maintenance and repairs of equipment
• Complete logs used for production
• Maintain records relating to chemical usage
• Ensure all employees follow all plant and customer specific quality requirements
• Process quality samples for daily QC testing requirements
• Inspect and verify order fulfillment prior to final shipment
• Assist with inventory and plant organization of untreated and treated products.
• Assist with daily shipping requirements including contacting carriers and generating
paperwork when needed
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment
• Assist management with required safety and environmental protection requirements
• Promote daily plant 5S organization and structure
• Must be willing to work shift and/or overtime hours during the week and/or weekends
as dictated by operations
• Follow and maintain all housekeeping protocols and support continuous improvement
initiatives
• Clean baskets and other equipment as necessary
• Required to follow all safety, environmental and quality programs

• Required to follow all company policies and procedures
• Ability and certification to drive a forklift
• Other duties as assigned by Management

Educational and Skills Requirements

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or two years job
related experience and/or training preferred
• Must be able to count, read, write, understand and follow instructions in English
• One to two years industrial/manufacturing experience in Lead or Supervisory role preferred
• Good documentation and organizational skills
• Basic quality assurance experience and understanding
• Basic machine maintenance experience
• Basic customer service experience
• Computer literate (order entry, scheduling, etc.)
• Forklift and industrial equipment experience

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Must be able to work in non-climate controlled warehouse.
