Manual Machinist

One of the largest manufacturers of tube bending tools is looking for a Manual Mill Machinist. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience, have a high degree of focus and precision, and be willing to refine their skills and adapt to new techniques.

Details:

• Pay ranges from $23-$27/hour DOE
• Open 7 days/week, all shifts available

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes blueprints and design sketches to ensure proper dimensions and tolerance levels of finished products
• Set up and operate machine tools to precision tolerances from blueprints and sketches
• Work with a broad range of materials (stainless, hardened steel, exotics)
• Monitor the quality of components using a wide range of equipment and maintain all process documentation
• Utilizes safe working habits and maintains work area in a neat and orderly manner
• Strives to maintain high personal productivity level and performs other related duties as assigned as well as training other employees when necessary

Requirements:

• 3+ years of proven experience as a machine operator
• Must have a high degree of mechanical ability and machine expertise
• The ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings & blueprints plus working knowledge of shop trigonometry
• Must be able to work independently to meet customer demands and manage workload of department
• Must be able to lift, handle, or carry heavy materials
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
