The company:

Levels is an early-stage startup working to solve the metabolic health crisis. They're doing so by empowering individuals with continuous real-time biomarker data, from tools like continuous glucose monitors, wearables, and bloodwork. Through Levels, people gain insight about the ways in which they can improve their metabolic health by optimizing diet and exercise.

The position:

First and foremost, we're looking for someone who is excited about what we're doing—you don't need to to be an expert in metabolic health, but you should be excited to learn and engage in the space, and dedicated to learning our business inside and out.

As Signal Processing Engineer, you will develop novel ways to leverage our datasets to improve the lives and health of our members well into the future.

Qualifications:

A strong understanding of foundational technical concepts, as evidenced by a STEM degree or equivalent experience.
A robust grounding in information theory, linear systems theory, and/or signal processing, with an emphasis on understanding fundamentals vs. simply applying various models to a problem.
Expertise working with data of various types and quality, SNR optimization, signal fusion, physics-based ground up models, ML, etc.
Demonstrated experience shipping code in a production environment.
Deep familiarity with data operations and hypothesis-driven data collection along with the ability to design and execute data collection strategies, including developing necessary tooling.
Proficiency in Python, Jupyter, AWS, Snowflake, Tensorflow, SciPy/NumPy, Docker and/or other relevant tools.
Comfort in managing AWS infrastructure and solid familiarity with cloud services and solutions.
