Construction Superintendent

CONAR Building Group is in search of a highly qualified and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our dynamic team. As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, budgeting, and implementation of construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent project management and communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of all aspects of construction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage all aspects of the construction process, from planning and budgeting to implementation and completion

- Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and projects are completed on time and within budget

- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project plans are in line with client expectations and building codes/regulations

- Hire, train, and supervise construction team members and subcontractors, providing guidance and support as needed

- Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control, safety, and adherence to project plans and timelines

- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process in a timely and effective manner

- Communicate with clients on a regular basis to provide project updates and address any concerns or questions they may have

- Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and budget updates

- Monitor and track project budgets and expenses, working closely with the project manager to ensure projects stay within budget

- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline construction processes and increase efficiency

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent work experience

- Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction management, with at least 2 years as a Construction Superintendent

- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulations

- Proven experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control

- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

- Ability to read blueprints and interpret project plans

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software

- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred

Salary: $42,000 to $54,000
