Pricing Specialist

We are seeking a Pricing Specialist with sales experience to research market conditions and help develop a pricing strategy for our product lines aimed at jobs that bid daily. This position will be based out of our home office in Orlando, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing Steel-Con pricing by working closely with the Sales Manager to gather proposals, and related documents, along with sales feedback and customer input
• Maintaining historical pricing data on the Company and its competitors
• Resolving any potential pricing discrepancies by obtaining and analyzing information
• Preparing reports for management by collecting, analyzing and summarizing applicable information and trends
• Marketing Steel-Con’s accessories products to customers
• Working with Job Tracking software to identify jobs to bid and follow up with, disseminating that information to our sales staff.
• When needed, backup for entering quotes into a quote program.
• Helping as needed as a Customer Service person, responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Answering incoming calls and assisting walk-in customers
  • Communicating delivery information and all changes in delivery times and materials to customers
  • Entering orders and quotes electronically and promptly
  • Ensuring the accuracy of pricing and quantities for orders and quotes
  • Preparing delivery tickets and establishing lead times for orders
  • Coordinating truck for on-time delivery of materials
  • Making sales calls to current and prospective customers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
• Strong math, computer and Excel skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
