Branch Service Manager

The Branch Service Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the branch's service department. Success in this position will require superior customer service, effective assignment of work orders to technicians, maintaining high standards for work completed and prompt and accurate billing. The manager needs excellent verbal communication skills, strong organizational ability and effective employee management skills. Position is located at our Burnsville store, M-F, 7:30-5, with great benefits, pay range of $65,000 - $80,000 based on qualifications and fun work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Branch Service Manager:

• Tracks department performance measures
• Reviews service technician productivity and effective labor rate daily
• Maximizes productivity of service technicians in assignment of work orders
• Supervises work of technicians in-process to ensure the highest quality result possible
• Keep current on warranty guidelines and how they pertain to work orders in-process
• Responsible for the accuracy of all invoicing including labor hours and parts used
• Maintains department safety standards, organization and cleanliness
• Maintains excellent customer relationships
• Promotes company policies and procedures
• Communicates with the Sales, Rentals and Parts departments regularly to ensure any internal work orders are processed as needed

Branch Service Manager Requirements:

• A minimum of five years' experience in Service operations
• Construction equipment technical knowledge
• Superior customer service skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills
• Skilled in use of MS Office applications
• Good time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
