Job Title: Staff Contractor / Supply Technician (Dual Role)

Supervisor: Project Manager and Supply Manager

RT Renovations LLC is a residential remodeling company in Indianapolis, IN. We seek to bring high levels of quality to renovate homes at prices that are affordable to the average homeowner and investor. We strive for successful projects done well and completed on time.

We are looking for a Staff Contractor to assist us in accomplishing this mission. Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in construction.

  • Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs with consistency.

  • Be a self-starter with a positive attitude.

  • Open to direct instruction with a willingness to learn new skills.

  • Flexibility for changing tasks and assignments.

  • Flexibility for varying schedules.

  • Capable of following specific instructions and executing tasks.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize ongoing tasks.

  • Be punctual and reliable.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Partake in all aspects of the building and remodeling process.

  • Complete assigned skilled tasks as needed, including but not limited to: 

    • Painting

    • Drywall repair

    • Minor electrical work (outlets, switches, lights, etc.)

    • Minor plumbing work (faucets, toilets, valves etc.)

    • Basic carpentry

    • Basic tile and flooring work as needed

    • Demo and debris disposal

  • Material pick up and delivery:

    • This includes shopping for supplies. Managing storage unit inventory spreadsheet, including pick ups and returns. Ensuring that supplies needed at job sites are delivered in a timely manner.

  • Cleaning job sites post project completion.

  • Operate necessary hand/power tools. (These can be supplied by RTR if needed)

  • Other duties as assigned.

 

SCHEDULE:
40 Hours Per Week

Monday-Friday

 

COMPENSATION:
$15-16 per hour

 

40 Hours Paid Vacation per annum. This accrues proportionally at the end of every pay period - Vacation days must be taken in 4 hour increments.

 

40 Hours Unpaid Time Off per annum. This accrues proportionally at the end of every pay period - UTO must be taken in 4 hour increments.

 

24 Hours Paid Time Off Hours per annum. This accrues proportionally at the end of every pay period - PTO must be taken in 4 hour increments.

 

1.5x pay for overtime (over 40 hours)

 

8 Hours Paid Holiday Pay for the following holidays:

New Years Day

Memorial Day

Independence Day

Labor Day

Thanksgiving

Christmas
