Senior Accountant - Full Time - Working on-premise.

This is a full-time exempt key position in our finance department to reconcile investment and bank accounts, prepare month-end closing entries, process month-end closing and preparing month-end financial reports. In addition, this position assists in the annual budget process, maintains resident files, and works with accounting issues unique to a Continue Care Retirement Community.

The ability to demonstrate critical thinking, positive problem solving and issue resolution along with effective interaction and communication skills with residents and co-workers is required.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting, 3-4 years of accounting experience preferably within a not-for-profit setting with long term care or investment accounting experience and be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
