Accounting Analyst

Summary:

Our award-winning client is seeking a Accounting Analyst to join their team.In this critical role, you will play a key role in supporting our sales team by providing accurate and timely financial data and analysis. Your responsibilities will span customer rebates, sales budgets, and various reporting functions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage customer rebate (TPA) programs, including forecasting, accruals, and payment processing.

• Analyze customer contracts and prepare account adjustments to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Track and manage customer deductions, working with sales to resolve discrepancies.

• Prepare insightful reports on customer program incentives, sales budgets, and display budgets.

• Reconcile monthly sales department budgets and identify variances.

• Leverage technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency for the sales organization.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with sales, finance, and purchasing departments.

• Assist with ad-hoc projects to support sales initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (Accounting preferred) with 5+ years of experience in sales accounting.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Excellent mathematical ability and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Access and PowerPoint.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task effectively.
