Dietary Staff Positions Open - Cook & Aide

The Dietary Department at Birkwood Village of Fort Madison (formally The Madison) is hiring! We are searching for hard-work dietary aides, cook, and baker.

The Cook will be responsible for following safe food practices while preparing, cooking, and serving food. They are responsible for the supervision of dietary aides, and other aides during food service times. No experience required, but preferred. Shift available: 11:30a-7:30p. Starting pay is $16.50/hour.

The Baker is responsible for making the next day's desserts, plating side dishes, and serving all three meals to the assisted living tenants. They are responsible for the supervision of assisted living Universal Workers during meal service times. Shift available: 7a-5p. Starting pay is $16.50/hour.

The Dietary Aide will be responsible for delivering meals, ensuring food safety, doing dishes, and providing a clean atmosphere for residents. No experience required. Shifts available: 6-2:30p, 4-7:30p. Starting pay is $12.50/hour.
