Job Title: Lead Dietary Aide
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift: Day - 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm (with every other weekend commitment)
Location: St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA
Position Purpose:
The Lead Dietary Aide is responsible for critical kitchen operations for the hospital's Food & Nutrition department.
As an "Lead Dietary Aide" you will:
  • Occasionally handles closing the kitchen at night and working morning shifts.
  • Responsible for oversight of trayline accuracy
  • Responsible for taking patient meal orders in the call center
  • Completing daily temperature logs
  • Printing and reviewing essential operational reports
  • The position also entails support to the management team and colleague oversight, with supervisory functions, such as cash handling, register reconciliation, audits, scheduling, and HACCP compliance.
  • This position acts in a supervisory capacity, in the absence of the retail management.
  • This position plays a vital role in ensuring patient satisfaction and compliance with food safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • HS diploma or equivalency (preferred)
  • 2 to 4 years of prior Dietary Aide/Food Service experience in a healthcare setting required
  • Management experience preferred
