Supply Chain Analyst - Roles & Responsibilities

As part of the Welty Energy Team, the Supply Chain Analyst will assist Project Managers in delivering projects to completion on time by maintaining the status of material delivery schedules and providing a high level of customer centricity.

Roles

As a Welty Energy Supply Chain Analyst, you are expected to:

• be a member of the project management team responsible for assisting with planning and organizing material activities for the construction of major capital projects and programs.
• collaborate with engineering, project management, construction management, suppliers, and supply chain buyers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives.
• define data requirements and gather and validate information using judgment and statistical tests.
• prepare delivery, lead time, and scheduling reports.
• identify and evaluate material issues and recommend solutions to keep projects on track.
• study and analyze information about alternative courses of action to determine which plan will offer the best outcomes.
• develop and apply review methods to perform post-project investigations and recommend areas for improvement.
• develop business methods and procedures, including file systems, office systems, logistics systems, and production schedules for keeping channels of communication open and facilitating successful project implementation.
• conduct market research and analysis using qualitative and quantitative skills that results in recommendations to leadership.
• organize and lead meetings related to material delivery and issues.
• coordinate with all applicable stakeholders on your project to ensure that communication across the lines is established and maintained throughout the life cycle of the project(s).
• will commit to the ideals of a client-centric culture to foster trust and confidence among clients and improve value for all our stakeholders.
• may perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

You will be expected to:

• Assist PMs in daily project management activities while allowing all project specific decisions to be delivered to the client by the assigned PM.
• share knowledge and train additional team members.

• collaborate with Management Team to foster a productive and encouraging environment.

• meet timesheet and expenses expectations including appropriate application to corresponding projects and submittal and approval deadlines (weekly).

Qualifications

You should bring to the table:

• bachelor's degree in business, materials management, engineering, construction management, or relevant experience in materials management, utility experience preferred.
• strong written and verbal communication skills.
• effective leadership and organizational skills.
• proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• organization, detail-orientation, and the flexibility to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• creativity and the ability to work in a team atmosphere.
