Job Description

Description:

The Project Engineer (PE) plays a pivotal role in orchestrating the planning,
organization, coordination, and direction of project managers to ensure the realization of
profit and growth objectives. Based at our headquarters in Corona, CA, PE
serves as a linchpin, providing essential resources and support for the successful
progress and completion of assigned projects while upholding the company's standards
of excellence.


Responsibilities:


1) Project Management Oversight: Collaborate closely with project managers to
oversee the construction process, from comprehending the Scope of Work to
ensuring adherence to schedules and specifications. Responsibilities encompass
facilitating project construction, managing scheduling and milestones, resolving
obstacles, and ensuring on-budget, on-time project completion to client
satisfaction.
2) Document Management: Thoroughly review all construction documents,
manage Requests for Information (RFIs), change orders, submittals,
procurement logs, and quotes to keep the project team fully informed and
equipped.
3) Problem Prevention and Resolution: Proactively anticipate and address
emerging issues to prevent disruptions to project progress, swiftly resolving any
challenges that may arise.
4) Resource Management: Provide direction and resources to manage projects
efficiently, striving to achieve acceptable profit margins, maintain on-time
completion records, and uphold client satisfaction.
5. Safety and Ethical Standards: Collaborate with project foremen and
superintendents to ensure a safe and secure work environment for all personnel,
upholding the ethical standards and goodwill
6. Project Management Support: Assist in project assignments as directed by the
Project Manager, contribute to developing and maintaining project schedules,
monitor project progress, prepare submittals, and liaise with key stakeholders to
ensure project success.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in construction management, demonstrating proficiency in
HVAC and Plumbing systems, building products, construction design, and
relevant regulations.
- Familiarity with construction management software packages and strong
computer skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to foresee challenges and opportunities.
- Proficiency in conflict resolution and crisis management.
- Strong leadership and human resources management skills.
- Self-motivated with exceptional time and project management abilities.
- Capability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment, multitasking with multiple
priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a
related field.
