We are seeking dynamic Engineering Project Manager to join our team as the right hand to the VP of Engineering. The Engineering Project Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the semiconductor engineering department by providing strategic oversight, project management expertise, and operational support. This individual will work closely with senior engineering leaders to drive key initiatives, streamline processes, and ensure the successful execution of engineering projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior engineering leadership to develop and execute strategic plans and drive change.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the engineering leadership team, providing insights, analysis, and recommendations to drive decision-making and facilitate efficient operations.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including engineering teams, product management, R&D, and manufacturing, to align priorities, resources, and goals.
  • Establish and maintain project management processes, tools, and best practices to optimize project execution and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, status reports, and risk assessments.
  • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies impacting project delivery and work proactively to mitigate them.
  • Monitor project progress and performance metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the engineering organization.
  • Support various team activities including but not limited to creating board slides, assisting in customer meetings, and other ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in project management or related role.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects from concept to delivery.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Power BI etc.).
  • PMP or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.

Preferences:

  • Strong understanding of semiconductor technology, processes, and industry trends.
