Special Events Manager
Who You Are
The Special Events Manager is responsible for providing leadership and professional expertise in the planning and implementation of high-quality strategic events and functions across the school. Sitting within the Office of Institutional Advancement, this position is responsible for ensuring that campus-wide priorities and standards are reflected in the planning and presentation of small and large events (200+ guests) supporting stewardship activities to strengthen long-term relationships with donors, parents, and alumni. This position requires a hands-on, proactive individual with exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Who You Are
The Special Events Manager is responsible for providing leadership and professional expertise in the planning and implementation of high-quality strategic events and functions across the school. Sitting within the Office of Institutional Advancement, this position is responsible for ensuring that campus-wide priorities and standards are reflected in the planning and presentation of small and large events (200+ guests) supporting stewardship activities to strengthen long-term relationships with donors, parents, and alumni. This position requires a hands-on, proactive individual with exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
About You
The ideal candidate for the Special Events Manager at The Episcopal Academy will possess the following:
- Proven experience working with vendors, venues, lecturers, and caterers; negotiating contracts; and managing event budgets.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex schedules and logistics both internally and externally while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven ability to create and execute a sophisticated event from start to finish.
- Proven experience collaborating with and serving as a hands-on partner to colleagues across an organization.
- Demonstrated curiosity, creativity, and growth mindset.
- Proven ability to perform well in fast-paced settings and meet deliverables.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, event software, and CRM systems preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
