About the Role:

Aquila is seeking a Systems Application Analyst to join our team in supporting one of the country’s premier defense research organizations. The team is responsible for the IT asset inventory, as well as the enterprise management & monitoring platforms. There is a need to have a dedicated application analyst to implement a ServiceNow based Configuration Management Database (CMDB) & asset inventory, as well as the workflow & integrations to fully-synchronize the inventory to the source data.

There are a few requirements for the position:

  • Must be a U.S Citizen (Green Cards / Visas do not qualify)
  • Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background investigation and maintain a personal security clearance. (Aquila would sponsor you for the security clearance.)
  • Reside within 100 miles of Lexington, Massachusetts.

What You'll Do:

This individual will support the implementation of a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and migrate existing asset inventories into it. They will work with the ServiceNow administrators & developers to bring additional functionality and reporting to the ServiceNow platform. Attention to detail, empathy & and an ability to collaborate with highly technical teams will be required for their success.

What You'll Bring:

  • 3 years of developing and document systems administration SOP's
  • 1 year of developing implementation architectures from requirements documents or high-level specifications
  • 3 years of equipment lifecycle management (computers, servers and mobility)
  • 2 years of implementing and operational support
  • 4 years of supporting for asset management and compliance tracking using dedicated tools, databases
  • 1 year of translating business requirements into technical specifications
  • 4 years of ServiceNow Administration
  • 4 years of ServiceNow ITOM Development
  • 4 years of ServiceNow IT Operations Management
  • 3 years of ServiceNow IT Service Management
  • 3 years of ServiceNow Multi-Source Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Administration
  • 2 years of systems architecture

Working Knowledge of the Following:

  • Develop and document systems administration SOP's
  • Develop implementation architectures from requirements documents or high-level specifications

Location: Lexington, MA

Work Schedule: This position is VIRTUAL. The candidate can work remotely but they MUST live within 100 miles of Lexington so that they can come into the facility if necessary for the needs of the program. The onsite work will NOT be regular. Must be within a commutable distance from Lexington, MA.

Travel: None

Clearance: Candidates should have an active clearance (secret/top secret, etc.) in order to be considered for this position due to the nature of the work being done.
