Job Summary:

Objective Area Solutions (OAS) is seeking a mid-level Business Systems Analyst to enhance our team. Our ideal candidate will be proficient in designing and integrating dashboards, automating workflow processes, and conduct system access reviews.

This role supports the Federal Aviation Administration organization, which is responsible for ensuring the safety of 45,000 flights and 3 million passengers traversing over 28 million miles of U.S. controlled airspace every day. A critical service that enables that massive responsibility involves the sustainment, development, and implementation of air traffic control surveillance capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

A successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience and be proficient in:

  • Collaborate and recommend organizational-wide design and development ideas using business intelligence and data visualization tools to produce dashboards, annual reports, and other interpreted information needs for Executive Management
  • Develop and maintain EA applications, data, infrastructure, security, technical aspects, and business architectures, Technical Reference Model (TRM), EA projects roadmap and associated vision, and strategy and implementation documentation
  • Develop workflow and ad-hoc reports and checklists to capture product status in support of accurate and on-time delivery
  • Collaborate with Business Process Support Teams to ensure that functionalities, accessibility, and reliability of business needs are within the agreed to SLA's
  • Coordinate with IT subject matter experts and project managers for deployment schedules, user-centered content on functionality, and impacts of IT system changes on end-users and business partners;
  • Coordinate to correct IT operational deficiencies to bring systems into alignment with compliance standards (e.g., system security, privacy)
  • Create client side applications and websites in accordance with customer requirements

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in information systems, business systems, management information systems, IT Management, or other IT related degrees. Engineering, math, and science degrees are acceptable.
  • Experience supporting the FAA or other US Government clients
