SPS PoolCare is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Austin, TX. This is an onsite position 4 days of the week (choice of remote day).  


We are seeking a high-performing Senior Financial Analyst to help drive financial strategy, operational performance, and scalable growth across a rapidly growing home services platform. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities to support strategic decision-making across the organization. 


This role requires a highly analytical and operationally minded professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively across cross-functional teams, and can translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities 

  • Own financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and monthly performance analysis across multiple markets and business units 
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for executive leadership 
  • Analyze branch-level performance including revenue trends, customer retention, labor efficiency, profitability, and operational KPIs 
  • Partner with operational leaders across multiple markets and business units to identify performance trends, risks, and growth opportunities 
  • Develop KPI Dashboards and executive reporting packages that provide actionable business insights 
  • Commit to learning the various business systems, applications, and processes to deliver insights and analyses that align with business strategy 
  • Support strategic initiatives including M&A activity, customer retention, market expansion, and operational scaling efforts 
  • Improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and scalability across the organization 
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a concise, executive-ready format 

Qualifications 

Required


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or another highly analytical discipline 
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in finance, investment banking, consulting, FP&A, corporate finance, technology, or operationally complex businesses 
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills  
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including financial modeling and data analysis  
  • Experience analyzing large datasets and translating findings into actionable insights  
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting  
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across finance and operational teams 
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and execution 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Background in PE-backed or rapidly scaling business is a plus  
  • Experience in home services, route-based businesses, recurring revenue businesses, multi-location operations, or high-growth environments is a plus 
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems, Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting platforms  
  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or related certification is a plus
