The Finance Summer Associates Program is a highly competitive, compensated summer internship for college students interested in pursuing a career in Finance. As a Finance Summer Associate, you will participate in a full-time, 10-week internship where you will:

  • Be placed within a unique finance function supporting Corporate Services, Health Services, or Insurance Services.
  • Dive into financial planning and analysis, accounting, financial reporting, revenue cycle management, transaction support, and much more.
  • Network with UPMC Executives and engage in mentorship activities.
  • Enhance your skills with hands-on, real-world experience and training.
  • Work on projects that make an impact on patient care while gaining knowledge on how UPMC Finance contributes to Life Changing Medicine.
  • Give back to the Pittsburgh community through service events.
  • Have a little bit of fun too!

  • Preference will be given to candidates that have demonstrated leadership ability through their studies, employment, or extracurricular activities.
  • Availability to participate in the Summer Associates Program full-time from June to August 2027 for approximately 10 weeks.
