Summary:

CLYNK is looking for a skilled, reliable Maintenance Technician to help keep our processing centers running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have experience performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment. Some relevant experience may include auto repair, farm and tractor equipment, food processing equipment, and other machinery. Most importantly, we need self-motivated people who are willing to learn and have a talent for diagnosing and forming a plan to repair mechanical issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong base of repair skills, but we will train strong candidates on any and all skills needed to succeed with the equipment in our warehouses.

A major part of the job is preventive maintenance activities including greasing/lubrication, conveyor belt tracking, and wear inspections. The technician will need to be able to perform repairs as needed on equipment in the facilities. The job may sometimes assist production by moving loads with a forklift, moving trucks in the parking lot, or other tasks. Additionally, the technician will need to be able to consistently document maintenance activities on our checklists.

Our Maintenance Technician will work primarily in our processing center in Biddeford, Maine, with occasional work in Oakland, Maine.
Maintenance Technicians must have a valid driver’s license with clean record and reliable transportation.
Scheduling flexibility is a plus, and overtime is frequently available!
We will train any candidate with the right aptitude for the job. 

Qualifications

-Hands-on experience using a wide variety of hand tools and power tools

-Changing parts on motor vehicles, machinery, etc.

-Welding and metal work experience

-Experience working with hydraulic and fluid power

-Forklift operation

-Basic electrical repairs

-Household "do-it-yourself" repairs

-Conveyor belt repair

-Understanding of lock-out tag-out procedure
