Medical Assistant

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Coral Springs FL USA 33065. This is a 3 Months of Contact to Hire role.

Title : Medical Assistant

Location : Coral Springs FL USA 33065

Pay Rate : $21-$23 per hour!

Shift: Monday to Friday8:00am-5:00pm [Available alternating extended hours until pm Monday & Thursday until pm and leaving at 12pm on Fridays.]

Duration: 3 Months of contract to hire

*Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications

**This position requires professional certification

Description:

Specific Duties:

1. Prepare examination rooms and sterilizing equipment

2. Room patients, obtain health history, check vital signs and perform EKG’s

3. Administer injections and collect specimen

4. Document patient care using NextGen electronic medical record software

5.Schedule appointments, complete prior authorizations, process medication refills, handle referrals, answer calls and complete paperwork

6. Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with minor, in-office procedures

7. Phlebotomy

Must have qualifications/experience:

1. High School Diploma or GED

2. Medical Assistant Diploma

3. Certified MA Assistant (CMA)

4. Knowledge of Medical Equipment

5. Bilingual Spanish required
