Job Description
Title: Multi-Family Superintendent
Reports to: President of Construction, VP of Project Management
Job Overview: NWBC is seeking an experienced Multi-Family Superintendent to oversee field operations for a 60 Unit high end multi-family development in the Park City Area. This is a full-time position that will oversee field construction operations of a 60 Unit Multi-Family construction site, from planning to completion. The duties of a construction superintendent will vary; however, they can expect to be responsible for daily scheduling, supervising all activities and tasks, and ensuring the safety and compliance of the site.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Work with NWBC Management, Clients, and project managers to manage, schedule, and execute project specific construction operations.
- Create takeoffs for all material purchases & subcontractor divisions; build labor estimates and schedules.
- Coordinate with the project management team in developing logistics plans, schedules, and all operational requirements during the preconstruction phase and during construction.
- Lead and manage self-perform teams, subcontractor activities and quality control.
- Address subcontractor field issues affecting budget, quality, or schedule.
- Maintain a daily job site log.
- Coordinate all field construction services and activities.
- Maintain the schedule and budget; make changes as necessary to ensure deadlines are met.
- Document field-related project concerns that may influence budget, quality, or schedule. Collaborate with the project management team to develop solutions and address concerns.
- Distribute and coordinate all field trade tasks in accordance with varying project requirements.
- Manage field-related document control and follow organizational best practices for document control, schedule updates, change management.
- Attend and participate in project meetings, OACs, and all relevant meetings with project management, clients, architects, and subcontractors.
- Constant communication with the Project Team.
- Ensure quality standards are met.
- Procurement, Materials and Asset Management: Placing orders for materials and being responsible for all equipment and materials on site.
- Monitoring and ensuring on-site safety compliances. Maintaining and updating a safety/injury log for their project.
- Maintain site cleanliness and orderliness.
- Keep detailed records for site personnel.
- This position requires some exposure to the elements, i.e. inclement weather, extreme heat or cold, wind, etc.
- This position requires little travel, mostly from the jobsite to office.
- Physical Fitness: Candidate must be fit enough to perform strenuous construction activities in the field: Must have the ability to lift 75 pounds, must be proficient and healthy enough to handle a variety of tools and equipment, climb ladders, scaffolding, and stairs.
Travel: Estimated at 10% or less

Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a construction superintendent
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or similar field preferred
- Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites
- In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Procore, Sage Intacct, Bluebeam, etc.
