Laboratory Technician

We're seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to contribute to our mission of achieving excellence in our objectives. As a Laboratory Technician, you'll support various facets of our operations, from research and development to quality control and production tasks.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform research, development, quality, and production tasks as directed to achieve the Company’s objectives.
   2. Set up, operate, maintain, and improve laboratory apparatus, instruments, and equipment.
   3. Maintain laboratory areas in good working condition.
   4. Compile and analyze data, including input for electronic processing.
   5. Compile and analyze production and quality control data, including input for electronic processing.
   6. Prepare documents and finished goods for shipping.
   7. Operate forklift to load and unload shipping trucks.
   8. Maintain and enforce general laboratory and facility safety.
   9. Abide by all policies, procedures, rules, and regulations established by Itaconix.
   10. Perform duties and responsibilities to the best of one’s abilities in a diligent, trustworthy, businesslike, and efficient manner.

Qualifications:· 2+ years of education in chemistry or comparable technical studies.
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
· 2+ years of laboratory experience preferred.
· Physically able to safely operate a forklift.
· Physically able to regularly lift 55 lb. bags.
· General technical knowledge in laboratory techniques and chemicals preferred.
