Job Summary:
Responsible for growing profitability and market share by developing the internal and external support of the Road Products Group.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Regional Managers/VPs with quotation preparation when needed.
- Interact with Regional/VP and Mainline sales reps on a daily basis regarding all asphalt related activity.
- Maintain weekly activity logs for opportunities, sales, and lost sales
- Communicate regularly with manager regarding specification and inventory requirements
- Assist in developing road products knowledge in Linder’s Parts and Service departments through coordination with Parts VP and Service VP
- Lead and manage alongside mainline reps customer demos
- Pre-inspect all units prior to demo. Communicate your findings to the shop. Reinspect the work prior to the unit leaving the yard.
- Coordinate all activities with appropriate departments and regions
- Weekly calls with your manager discussing wins, losses or concerns.
- Document Road Products sales activities
Education/Experience/Skills:
- Marketing or Business Degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience in Road Product Sales preferred
- Proficient in data entry and management
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven experience in customer relationship management
- Relevant product and industry knowledge
