Construction Superintendent for Utilities & Roadway Projects

Cathcart is searching for a experienced Project Superintendent who enjoys building Local Government Infrastructure Projects in Central Florida. Cathcart offers above-market compensation and benefits in hopes of attracting the Most Talented People. Job is salary pay + performance bonus.

A Project Superintendent is the contractor’s representative at a construction site. This position directs and coordinates the activities of the various trade groups such as equipment operators, pipe crews, concrete crews, etc. on site. Responsibilities include making sure that the work progresses according to the schedule, that materials & equipment are delivered to the site on time, and that the activities of the various workers do not interfere with one another. This person supervises all these activities by communicating with and directing the different trades foremen. In some instances, the superintendent may be in charge of a specific jobsite’s activities, i.e. grading, excavation, etc. He/She will effectively communicate with the owners/clients, subcontractors, inspectors, project managers, general superintendents and office staff.
