Health Care Associate – CNA

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Residential Health Care Associate wish a CNA certificate to assist licensed medical staff in providing care to clients with developmental disabilities living in our group homes.

A Typical Day for a Healthcare Associate /CNA will include:

• Transporting/escorting clients to medical appointments,
• Providing home and/or hospital supervision to ill clients,
• Administering medications, providing direct personal care and supervision,
• Providing active treatment, behavior modification
• CPR/First aide, in accordance with the individual program plans and when emergencies

warrant.

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written.
• Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize effectively. What you will need to be successful:
• Strong understanding of patient’s needs, and best practices.
• High standard of care and treatment.
• Ability to provide the highest standard of care across multiple settings.
• Positive outlook and a team player mentality.

TERI participates in the Direct Service Professional Training Stipend Program offering you the opportunity to earn up to $1,250.00, in addition to your regular salary, to help enhance your job skills after completing two free, 1-hour online courses.

Shift: Full-Time. Mon.- Fri. 8:30am – 4:30pm.

Range: $20 - $21.00

We would love it if you:

• Minimum 1year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities required.

Current CNA certification Required.

• HS/GED, Minimum 3 years acceptable driving

history & criminal background check

• Must be comfortable transporting clients 1:1.
