Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Sushi Chefs to become an integral part of our team!
Responsibilities:
- Preparing Sushi, Sashimi, and rolls based of recipe.
- Understanding Japanese food items
- Clean and prepare the kitchen areas
- Being a team player
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely fashion
- Perform other restaurant duties as assigned
Compensation:
- Hourly (based on experience) wage plus tips
- Health Insurance Benefits includes medical, dental, vision coverage
- 401K plan
- Sick pay
Qualifications:
- Previous 2 yrs experience in sushi chef, or sushi prep work
- Ability to prep, cook, plate in timely fashion
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Good verbal communication skills
- Japanese restaurant experience or Japanese cuisine knowledge is a plus.
