We are looking for a skilled Tool and Die Marker to maintain and repair precision tools and dies in accordance with our projects needs.
Interpret blueprints or design specifications to repair and maintain tools and die.
Operate and maintain machines including lathes, milling machines, and grinders to cut, bore, grind or otherwise shape parts to prescribed dimensions and finishes.
File, grind, shim and adjust different parts to properly git them together.
Inspect finished dies for smoothness, contour conformity, and defects.
Perform quality checks on completed tools and dies to ensure they are function- ready.
Conduct test runs with completed tools and dies to ensure parts meet specifications.
Modify and repair tools, dies, fixtures and gauges as required.
Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
