Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair motor vehicles and equipment for use by Department of State Police Personnel.

• Troubleshoot vehicles and equipment to determine the repair work to be performed.
• Ability to repair minor dents and damage, windshield, and glass replacement, buffing out scratches, and refurbishing corrosion damage.
• Replace damaged body parts, including bumpers fenders, hoods, trim, etc.
• Ability to repair minor structural damage.
• Ability to prepare and paint vehicles and equipment.
• Prepare damage reports 
• Ability to work with various machines and tools as well as follow all safety precautions.
• Ability to follow established procedures, practices, read and comprehend instructions.
• Provide accurate repair and/or maintenance reports.
• Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and replace as needed.
• Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) targeting vehicle safety and functionality.
• Repair or replace broken or defective parts and fix issues.
• Ability to operate snow removal and sanding vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to handle various tools
• Detailing & reconditioning of company owned heavy-equipment, heavy, mid-duty trucks.
• Clean and restore owned machines and vehicles. 
• Power washing, waxing and buffing a variety of vehicle exteriors.
• Clean interior & exterior windows
• Vacuum & clean interior of all types of equipment and vehicles.
• Clean engine & engine compartment
• Apply dressing, treatments and coatings as required.
• Utilize special purpose cleaners to ensure lasting cleanliness of all company owned vehicles.
• Operate all tools in a safe manner.
• Report any safety issues immediately to management.
