Residential Design Assistant / Selections Coordinator

LBK Design Build is a growing and award-winning design/build firm in the
Bucks/Montco area that is mainly focused on residential remodeling and building.
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Design Assistant/Selections Coordinator to
focus on our Kitchen & Bath projects, additions, and new home builds.
This position is a perfect fit for a creative, detail oriented and ambitious individual.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assisting lead designers as needed with site surveys and client meetings. This might
include measuring, taking photos, taking notes, gathering samples, creating mood
boards, etc.
- Organizing and creating selections sheets (client version and office version) and getting
them over to design and estimating in a timely manner
- Uploading final specs and selections to Buildertrend (Project Management App)
- Uploading finish material information to monday.com in the Purchase Orders Tab
- Provide clients with renderings that include selections and finish materials using chief

architect (**This will need to be learned and not something we expect you to do
immediately**)
- Create job site ready packets with all the information needed for a successful
design-build project to be completed
- Make site visits prior to design and during construction as needed
- Meet clients on and offsite and be available to them as needed during work hours
- Problem solving through design and product selection
- Work with all levels of budgets and client personalities
- Assist potential clients when they walk into the design center

Requirements:
· Minimum of 2-years experience in the industry
· Knowledge of 20/20 Design software (willingness to learn)
. Knowledge of chief architect software (willingness to learn)
· Previous experience in residential design preferred
· Proven ability to take on client projects, stay organized and finish/close out projects in a timely
manner
· Ability to represent self and company in a professional and knowledgeable manner
· Working knowledge of Adobe, Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
· Strong oral and written communication skills

Time management skills and capability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Confident, self-motivated, and achievement-oriented
· Must be an organized individual who has a strong attention to detail
· Must be willing to travel when required
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred
