Position Overview:

Working closely with our lead teachers, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children explore, learn, and grow. This position requires a commitment to excellence in caregiving and a genuine passion for working with young children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum activities that support the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of infants.
- Provide responsive and nurturing care to meet the individual needs of each child, including feeding, diapering, and soothing.
- Engage children in age-appropriate sensory experiences, language development activities, and play opportunities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment, including regular sanitization of toys, equipment, and surfaces.
- Communicate effectively with parents and families, providing updates on their child's daily activities, milestones, and needs.
- Collaborate with lead teachers and center staff to ensure the overall well-being and safety of children in our care.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in early childhood education or related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting is highly desirable
- Genuine passion for working with young children and providing nurturing care and support.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow directions from lead teachers and center management.
- Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to maintaining a consistent schedule.
Schedule:
- Part-time position: 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday
