Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Campus Crisis Intervention Team Member to join our team. In this critical role, you will be the first responder during crisis situations on our campus, with a focus on de-escalating incidents and ensuring the safety and well-being of both the youth in our care and our staff.

Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to crises on the campus, providing immediate intervention and support.
• Work to de-escalate situations following our established crisis intervention protocols.
• Serve as a support system for youth in distress, facilitating a return to normalcy.
• Relieve other staff members when they require breaks or assistance with their duties.
• Collaborate with the broader care team to maintain a seamless support structure on campus.
• Document crisis interventions and provide feedback for continuous improvement of crisis management procedures.
• Attend regular training sessions to stay up to date on the latest intervention techniques and agency protocols.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in crisis intervention, social work, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility in scheduling and availability to work various shifts between 6 AM and 10 PM.
• A compassionate approach and a strong desire to work with youth in a foster care setting.
• Must pass a background check and have a clean record.

Education: 

We require you to have one of the following associate degrees and/or a bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience working with children.
