We are searching for a Senior Interior Designer and Interiors Lead in our Denver Studio.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Create focus within the studio on improving project outcomes. These include client satisfaction, design leadership, overall quality, staff engagement/communication, and project profitability.
  • Follow Core Processes using design tools, project management tools and technology techniques across the discipline so that there is consistency in how the projects are delivered across the team.
  • Lead and oversee the preparation of design ideas, interiors documentation, and executable delivery of projects.
  • Manage the Interior Design studio as a business while creating a healthy work environment for all. Focus on staff supervision, communication and consistency to create a strong and flexible organization.
  • Delegate and prioritize key initiatives that broaden knowledge such as training and staff meetings. Regularly review key business metrics such as utilization, project profitability, revenue projections and work with Finance to produce good contracts and set reasonable fees.
  • Promote career development and staff advocacy. Use mentoring and lessons learned by creating frequent dialogue around design, quality, E&Os and other topics. Understand the strengths/weaknesses of talent within the studio group and assist the Director to create a hiring plan each year.
  • Create a culture of ownership on project staffing, delivery, and clients.
  • Engage design leaders on projects as part of the core process. Work collaboratively with design leaders to elevate the quality of design on all projects. Innovate using design technology.
  • Meet and coordinate with Market Leaders and Principals, within your studio, to discuss backlog, capacity, client expectations, client feedback, pursuits and the selling of services.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Represent company to clients, peer organizations, and business associates.
  • Understand and promote the BSA brand.
  • May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

  • Computer skills required: Revit, Microsoft Windows environment, Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel; Google: Mail, Calendar, Drive, Apps; Architecture CAD, Sketchup, Bluebeam; Graphic Software: InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Enscape.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
  • 10+ years of experience in the design industry including construction documentation and field observation.
    • Experience with projects focused on Healthcare, Higher Education and/or Lab Design preferred.
  • NCIDQ Certification required.


The pay range for this role is $95,000 - $125,000 and is dependent on education, experience, and skills.
