Job DescriptionCompany Description
We have an immediate opening for a Production Supervisor. We are looking for a motivated and organized person to lead our Insulated panel production team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a production and operations team of 15.
- Organize and coordinate the daily activities of the team.
- Delegate assignments to appropriate personnel.
- Direct the setup and operation of production equipment.
- Help diagnose equipment problems and implement solutions in a timely manner.
- Direct preventative maintenance to minimize production downtime and ensure quality product is produced.
- Direct offloading of incoming raw materials
- Inspect all incoming materials to ensure quality standards are met.
- Direct loading of finished products on full load and LTL trucks.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or other related fields
- Knowledge of production tools and equipment
- Strong leadership qualities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, motors, gearboxes, etc.
- Knowledge of electrical control systems a plus
- Trouble shooting skills.
- Previous experience in quality control functions
