Purchasing Clerk
- $18 to $20 Hourly
- Full-Time
Our organization is looking for a Purchasing Clerk to assist us with filling our internal inventory needs. You will report to the parts manager negotiating the pricing of the raw materials, products, or supplies that we need to operate smoothly. You will create purchase orders and track the incoming items to help ensure that there will not be any unforeseen interruptions to production. You will also help reconcile inventory counts if there are any issues.
Purchasing Clerk Duties and Responsibilities
- Negotiate pricing of raw materials, products, or supplies
- Create purchase orders
- Track incoming orders
- Reconcile inventory counts
- Assist with other tasks assigned by the purchasing manager
Purchasing Clerk Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Computer proficiency, particularly with spreadsheet programs
- Organizational skills
- Time management skills
- Previous experience in HVAC or Plumbing preferred
