Responsibilities & Requirements of an RMI Transportation Support Specialist

• Manages driver utilization to ensure their drivers achieve targeted utilization levels.
• Tracks and manages assigned drivers' schedules, including planned and unplanned time off.
• Works with load planners to improve driver productivity.
• Supports load planning in the areas of pre-plan, recovery of loads, and position coverage.
• Weekly and monthly reporting as assigned.
• Experience in the transportation industry
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude
• Goal-oriented, able to work under pressure, prioritize and multitask.
• Self-starter, organized, detail-oriented, and able to function as a team player with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional computer/software proficiency including all MS Office programs
• Ability to proactively identifies potential problems and recommend strategies to prevent or solve issues.
